This was my first time attending a trade fair like this, having previously only been involved in academic conferences. It’s been a refreshing experience to see a product-focused exhibition. I’m particularly interested in innovative products and affordable alternatives that could be introduced to Malaysia. For example, I came across chemicals and reagents from Chinese booths that are up to twice as affordable, and even high-end equipment like mass spectrometers and liquid chromatography systems. I also focus on diagnostic kits targeting agriculture and food products, which align with Malaysia’s current direction. Overall, I’m very impressed. The atmosphere has been incredibly positive, and I was amazed to see Vietnamese companies developing lab products like voice-activated fume hoods. There’s a strong can-do spirit here that we admire and hope to learn from.
It is a nice venue to collaborate and expand connections related to laboratory technology and biotechnology.
The exhibition had large scale with participation of many famous manufacturers/brands in the world. We were satisfied with the information and quality of the exhibition. The display products are suitable for the targets we were finding. Then we could establish business relationships with exhibitors.
This was my second time attending analytica Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City, and once again, it proved to be a valuable experience. The exhibition provided an excellent opportunity to explore new technologies and innovative products relevant to the Laos market. Several brands stood out as potential partners, and we look forward to evaluating samples and building future collaborations. Beyond the exhibition, I attended conferences and engaged in meaningful discussions with both exhibitors and regional delegates. These networking opportunities were especially beneficial for supporting Laos companies in accessing new markets, technologies, and information to build capacity.
As first-time visitors to analytica Vietnam, we were thoroughly impressed by the scale, energy, and organisation of the event. The exhibition offered a dynamic platform to discover the latest analytical technologies and instruments, as well as to engage directly with professionals from across the region who share similar industry backgrounds. We had the opportunity to visit over 30 pavilions and made valuable business connections, many of which will continue beyond the exhibition. The combination of the trade fair, academic conferences, start-up showcases, and strong business networking made analytica Vietnam a truly comprehensive and enriching experience. We appreciated the diversity of international participation, including the China, Germany, and Singapore pavilions, and were especially inspired by the eagerness of attendees to share knowledge and collaborate.
This is my first time attending a lab exhibition in Vietnam, and being here as a hosted buyer made the experience much more purposeful. It encouraged meaningful engagement with exhibitors, which is exactly what I was hoping for. At our diagnostic lab in Malaysia, we’re looking to connect directly with manufacturers to reduce reliance on second-tier distributors. I found Chinese booths ideal for sourcing, while those from Germany and Singapore offered strong innovation. We’re also early adopters of PFAS testing and are exploring ready-to-use kits in this area. Although most academic conference sessions were in Vietnamese, the contents were insightful. Innovation at an affordable price is key for us, and there’s definitely strong interest from the Malaysian market.
